Indian Powder

I start using those powders not to long ago. I use them once a week with my deep condition. I am using them to strengthen my hair from the root, to clean y scalp and grown my hair. The only problem with these powders is that they make my hair so dry. So after washing them out, I always deep conditioner again for few minutes like 20 minutes, just to ensure that my hair isn’t to dry.

What I notice with the Shikaiki powder, it has change my hair colour to brown, kind of dark brown, but nothing to worry. Sometime also, when I have extra time, I massage my scalp using those powder when putting them on my hair. This will help cleanse my scalp also.

The price was cheap, at my opinion, I bought them for about 4.5 euro for each and you get 100 gramme for each.

Here are the benefit of using the Brahmi and Shikakai on your hair and scalp.

Brahmi Powder:

Cools the scalp and induces sound sleep

Control dandruff
Make hair long, dark, Dense and lustrous
Strengthens hair roots.
Shikakai Powder:
Provides new life to hair strands
Increases bounciness and silkiness of hair

Clears dandruff
Keep the scalp clean and cool.
I am planning to buy those following powder later. May be around autumn, so I can use them during autumn and winter.
Alma Powder:
Promote Hair growth
Control hair fall
Cures scalp infection
Controls premature greying of hair.
They are many more out there, but I am only using those one. As they are helping me on my Hair Journey.

Black Tea Rinse

Black tea rinse really saves my hair. I haven’t seen any hair shedding in a long time.

Since I have tried that black tea rinse, I am very glad of the result. I use to think Garlic was the best, but black tea rinse is way better.
Now, if I can find something to find my breakage that will be great.
This was just small though on my hair and black tea rinse.
I am now finding some breakage my hair, it is not too bad, but it could be better.
I don’t do this more them once a week, as at my knowledge this will dry our your hair.

Again, I bought some products, but this is the last one. I wouldn’t buy any products for at least 3- 6 months. I think I have enough for the moment... The only thing that I am missing is a good detangler.
Currently, when I do my Deep Conditioner, co- wash or anything that have to do with water, I first put my hair into 6-8 braid. This help to reduce breakage, as I don’t know how to detangle perfectly YET..

Streching my relaxer

Stretching your relaxer , regimen, products.

I am currently about 10 weeks post. I first planned to relax on July 2010, but my weeding anniversary is in June, so my plan may change.
So far, I am happy with my stretching, I am still learning and I have purchase few more products which I am trying them every day or week, depend on the need of the products.
During the stretch, I did a lot of manipulation; I have to say I am not happy with this. Going forward, I will try to reduce the manipulation, as this is one of the keys to retain your length.
I am still co- washing once a week and deep condition twice a week, Hot oil Treatment once or twice a month.
As I am trying few product every now and them, I have few different treatment in.
When I start, I didn’t have any leave in expect the one I made myself , but I have now purchase few leave in conditioner that I am currently using ( Neutrogena  triple moist Silk Touch, Herbal Essence, Coconut Almond , ….)
If I have to compare my hair from last year, when I start, it is much stronger, healthier, but I still have a long way to go. Meaning more work, patient and Consistency….

Sunny Day in Dublin

The weather was wonderful here. I went to visit some friend and on Sunday went to the beach my hubby. It was wonderful/

Africa Day

Last Sunday, I attended the “Africa Day “in Dublin.

Since last year, the Irish government decided to organise two weekend in each of the biggest city (including the capital: Dublin) in the Country of course.
So, they picked one garden in Dublin, where Stands were organising for some Africa countries at certain prices.
Meaning, if you want to have a stand where you can show some of your products, services ect…

So people came, eat, drink, and just have fun… The music was great, the ambiance was superb… and just enjoy.
I had great fun; especially I had to make some extra money which will help me to buy more hair products if needed. Check out the pictures below.

Here is my opinion about the product,
OMG, OMG, OMG. This product is incredible. I really don’t understand most of the protein products will leave your hair a bit dry and strong.
But this, this make my hair so soft, so I am surprise and I was very impressed, I must say, also the smell, not bad. No bad at all
I wanted to try this product for so long, but here in Dublin. We don’t have that many beauty suppliers with good quality products.
I will definitely repurchase this one. I notice that there is mineral oil on this (NOT GOOD NEW) was so sad when I saw that. I guess I need to research more and find a solution on that.
I wasn’t that expensive, I bought with few other products online, so can’t really remember.
I see why everyone love ATEYAA on you tube, after introducing this miracle worker.

I don’t think I have breakage issue, but I have little breakage here and there. So this product will help reduce those to the minimum and make my hair stronger and softer.

Hair Day

Last Saturday, I woke up very early in the morning, as I wanted to take care of my hair closely. I bought few products recently , so I am planning to try all of them and hopefully they will be help me retain my length, as I know my hair it is growing, but I need to be able to keep it on my head. I shouldn’t allow any breakage or sheeding.
I did little stuffs / Treatment on my hair and all have helped me tremendously.
I start by co- washing my hair with (Herbal Essences Beautiful Ends Split End Protection Intensive Mask) which I keep on for about 15 minutes using my new Hair Bonnet Dryer. I will tell you more about this later.
After this, I did a black tea rinse. I keep this on my hair without heat for about an hour. In the mean time, I was trying to cook, clean… It was pretty early about 8 am in the morning.
After this, I wanted to try “ Aphogee two minutes reconstructor “so bad. So I did a protein treatment for 5 minutes without heat, but with plastic cap on. After this,
I did a deep condition with -Elasta QP DPR 11 Conditioner. Note that this is the first time I used this products. I add the following:
- 2 table spoon of Shikakai powder
- 1 tea spoon of glycerine
- 1 tea spoon of garlic
- 1 table spoon of my mix oil and stay under the hood dryer for 1 hour. I did use the Hair Bonnet Dryer, as I wanted a deep penetration.
After this, I finally wash the condition out with warm to cold water and hair dryer.
It was about 5 pm when I was totally done and tried.
But I was impressed with all the new products that I have used.
I forgot to mention that after the black tea rinse, I use “Roux Porosity Control” for 5 minutes.

Satin Scarf Edge

As you know, I have problem growing my edge, but I am working on that and I know every soon, it will look more healthier.
As part of my purchase, I also took the satin edge Bonnet. I have to say, this is a miracle. Usually, when I wear my wig or satin scarf, in the morning, this will go out of edge or move a little inside the hair, which leave my edge unprotected.
From the first use, I can see that this will really help me growing my edge and keep them healthier.
The satin really protect your edge as it is design to do.
This is what I do:

- Moisturize and seal my hair
- Twist my hair using trade , the normal one
- Put the wig cap
- Wear the satin scarf
- And Final put my satin edge which will protect my edge all night.
I will keep you update on this and will see what happen.

My birthday

I was my birthday last Monday ( May 3rd ), was just to busy to blog. I was very happy that the weather was fine also. My husband brought me out for a small shopping and after we went for late lunch at this place called “The church “here in Dublin
Nothing much,
Just to thank the Lord above, for his mercy. One more year, and I know this will just be more blessing, joy, happiness… all the good thing that every child of God deserve.

Mega Tek Updated

I have been trying the Mega Tek for about 3 weeks, now.

I didn’t see any grown yet, not even the sheeding. But bear in mind, I am using the following to fight the sheeding :
- Tea rinse every two week
- Add two table spoon of garlic in my DC
- Add two table spoon of mollasse in my DC
I will give myself about 3 months and hopeful, I will see some results.
I notice that every time, I have the Mega Tek on my head, I wil have some slight headshake, nothing to worry.
I will keep you posted.
